BALKANFILA XXI 2026

The Balkan Philatelic Exhibition BALKANFILA XXI will take place in Bulgaria in 2026 and will be one of the most significant cultural events for philatelists in the region. The host of the forum will be the Palace of Culture in the city of Pernik, where from April 29 to May 2, 2026, collectors, researchers, and enthusiasts of postage stamps from many countries will gather.
The exhibition will offer impressive scale – a total of 500 exhibition frames are planned, with each country having the opportunity to present its collections on 40 panels. In addition, the “Literature” class will have no limit on the number of participants, allowing the presentation of books, catalogs, studies, and other philatelic publications. Special attention will be given to young philatelists, as their exhibits will be displayed completely free of charge, aiming to encourage the new generation to discover and develop an interest in this hobby.
